Creating Safe Homes and Brighter Futures

Located in Harrow, Guardian Pathway Care provides a safe and empowering home for young women aged 18 and over with learning disabilities. Our focus is on life skills, personal growth, and building independence in a nurturing, low-risk environment.

Welcome to Guardian Pathway Care

We specialise in providing a safe, nurturing residential environment for young women aged 18 and over with learning disabilities, particularly those assessed as low to medium risk. Located at 68 Northumberland Road, Harrow, our home features two comfortable double rooms where residents can thrive while developing essential life skills and working toward personal independence.

Our supported living services create an environment free from stress and prejudice, promoting peer support and skill-building. Through personalised support, we help each young woman gain confidence and prepare for independent living. Our assessments are thorough, person-centred, and evidence-based—reflecting each individual’s unique journey. Final reports ensure timely recommendations and continuous alignment with quality standards.

An Independent Visitor (Reg 25) conducts monthly quality assurance checks to help us improve and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Our Mission

To empower young women aged 18–24 by providing safe, supportive housing, personalized life-skills training, and unwavering emotional support.

Our Core Values

The principles that guide every decision we make and every action we take.

Empowerment

We equip residents with the tools and confidence needed for independence.

Compassion

We respond to every situation with empathy, care, and understanding.

Respect

We value everyone’s background, identity, and voice within our community.

Growth

We foster continuous personal, emotional, and practical development.

Our Ethos & Support Philosophy

The beliefs that shape how we support each resident through personal growth and positive change.

Trauma-Informed Approach

We recognise that resistance to change can come from trauma, fear, or shame. Our support is built on empathy and safety.

Capacity for Change

Each young woman is assessed with compassion, focusing on her ability and motivation to grow with the right guidance.

Good Enough Support

Our team is emotionally and physically available, offering consistent, practical care tailored to real-life needs.

Environment Matters

Personal development doesn’t happen in isolation. We consider external barriers like economic hardship and housing insecurity.

Empowerment over Rescue

We help residents take ownership of their journey while reminding them they’re never alone in it.
